Campground hosts were nice, the bathrooms were clean. Some of the charcoal grills at The Pavilions need to be replaced. There is a bear that is way too friendly that came in two out of the three nights we were there. But all in all a good place to have a group camping trip.
This is a day use area during the warmer months but during the winter it's a private Group campground. It's a beautiful campground very accessible with huge parking area and very private. Lots of picnic benches and grills and beautiful view of the lake. Also has flushing toilets and change rooms. We took our Boy Scout Troop camping here and had a great time. Only downside I could say is if you have a lot of camping gear you will have to walk it in from the parking lot. See Recreation.gov for more information or to book the site.
Beautiful place with camping area, picnic area (handicap accessible) and boat ramp area. Well maintained, clean bathrooms, benches, nice white sand beach and lots of shade. Only one covered picnic area. $2 per user.
Rented this campground for 4 days. It was very clean and nicely set up. The lake front beach was great for the kids. We did have an issue with a bear showing up every night, but he was not aggressive and was just looking for food. We just had to make sure we kept our food put away at night. Only slight draw back was that you had to park in the parking lot away from the campground so you had to carry everything by hand down to the camp site.
Quiet little picnic area with plenty of tables, covered areas, clean bathrooms, nice sandy swim area, grills. We had it all to ourselves on a Monday lunch time.
