Fantastic hidden campground . Only stayed one night but was very nice. Campground hosts were very friendly and kept the area very clean as well as the outhouse.

This campground is a hidden gem. The spots are very nice, shaded fully grown trees, with fire-rings and BBQ's. The lake has a very nice fishing pier and there is a good ramp able to accommodate all sorts of watercraft including boats, air boats, kayaks, canoes and paddle boards. However, the lake is very shallow, an adult of average height could walk across the lake. There is bass, crappie (specks), bluegill, sunfish and other species on the lake. Fishing is allowed but you need a Florida freshwater fishing license. There are plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities and several trail that allow you access deep into the forest. The cost of the spots was $8 per night as of this writing. The campground is seldom busy.
Small little primitive campground on Lake Eaton. Open from October 1st to June 1st. Gate to campground open 8am to 8pm. Sites have picnic table, grill and fire ring. There is NO electricity, NO showers, only a pit toilet. There is a boat ramp and fishing dock right by campground. No swimming in lake because of many aligators. Florida Black Bears frequent campground area. Very nice campground hosts.
Very small.and primitive. It was very quiet which was what I wanted.
